PACKING FOR COLORADO /

being sharing what all she packed for her trip to Crested Butte Colorado, Activewear from Outdoor Voices, Nike, Zella, Everyday sweaters from Nordstrom, Free people and booties from Marc Fisher

Have you ever been to Colorado in the summer time? It’s my absolute favorite time to go! The weather is just right, all the wildflowers are out, and it’s just so beautiful! Now in the past Colorado posts I have shared information about the town, so in today’s post I wanted to keep it simple and just do a quick overview of what all I packed for Colorado.

Packing is always so stressful to me. hah! I don’t know why, but I just don’t enjoy doing it. Even though I am always SO excited for the upcoming trip. If you are planning on heading out to Colorado anytime soon hopefully this will help to easy your packing process!

Before you get started try and figure out what all you will be doing. For our trip it was going to be a bunch of hiking, biking, and relaxing. If we were to do anything outside of that it was still going to be very casual and easy going. Also check out the weather. I’ll be the first to admit I never check the weather. It’s something so simple and helpful, but for whatever reason I never do it. hah!

Back to packing! Lots of activewear! Not just for being active, but also for lounging around. How do I pick which legging I hike in verse lounge in.. well it’s easy the leggings that are looser fitting I lounge in! haha! I mean a girls got to have some room in her leggings when she chows down on a bag of popcorn! hah! Guilty!

Now when it comes to your everyday wear, I kept it simple and stuck with the basics. When your packing try to to take things that will style/pair with more then one item. This way you get multiple us out of it. I worn this red sweater none stop, it was just so easy to throw on over a tee, and pair with jeans, denim shorts, or leggings.

As far as shoes go, these booties were the only “nicer” pair of shoes I took with me. Outside of them one pair of nude sandals so they would pair with everything and then sneakers to hike and bike in. I had a little bit of room left in my bag so I had to take my Nike sneakers that are still athletic but a little more stylish. haha!

Over all when it comes to packing for Colorado or for a trip of this nature be minimal. Your suppose to be relaxing so be relaxed while packing! I know easier said then done. Now go on your trip and enjoy being outside because it is beautiful there! Ugh.. take me with you, I want to go back! hah!

Have a wonderful weekend!
