Not wearing white after Labor Day is just crazy. This old rule is simply out of date and not needed anymore. I mean let’s think about it. To help you avoid looking like a spring chicken in your all white ensemble in the middle of November, here are some tips. hah!
Now, don’t get me wrong you can totally rock an all white outfit in November. Just remember these tips when you are creating your look.
1. Watch your fabrications. You will want to avoid fabrics like linen, and seersucker, anything that screams summer. hah! Now your thinking.. what?.. BreAnne you have on an eyelet top. Your right I do, but it’s not in white. Although it’s eyelet, it’s not a white eyelet top. It’s dark navy which really helps in the fall transition. Plus it’s nice and cool for this Texas weather. Add some suede or velvet to your white look, they are key fabrics for fall.
2. Bring in darker tones. Even if it’s just your bag. Adding a little touch of a dark hue will easy you into fall. Ps. This blouse has been on repeat!
3. Don’t be afraid to wear your white denim. If you have a friend who give you heck for it, tell them to come chat with me. lol! I am just kidding, but really. There is no reason why you can’t rock your white denim year around. You can easily transition your white denim into fall. Don’t over think it. Look at them just like your regular ol’ denim, I bet you surprise yourself with how easy it will be.
