Trends, on trends, on trends! They are constantly coming and going! I won’t deny trends are something I love! I love to experiment with them, to see what I like and what I don’t like; because you never know until you try. But my goodness… they can be so costly! So I wanted to share with you how to shop trends without breaking the bank. Continue reading to see my tips, and go-to stores to shop trends.
When it comes to shopping trends my first rule of thumb is to keep everything under $100! Why did I set this number? For one this is simply what works with my budget, two I still want it to be somewhat of good quality. Even though it’s a trending item and it may only be “on trend” for one season, odds are I will wear it non-stop for that season, hah! So I want it to last. You would be amazed at what you can find and the quality of the product at this price point. Now sometimes I will go over the 100 dollar mark. For example these black kitten heels. I chose to with these shoes, because I knew who much I would wear them, and I they also fall under the classic category in my book.
On to the fun part!.. Where to shop!
1. Target! The obsession with Target is real! haha! Between The Who What Wear Collection and The New Day collection you can find so much. Plus there is nothing better then running into Target to just grab “a few things” and then you come out with new shoes, a bag, and blouse! hah! You know what I am talking about. 🤣
2. Nordstrom Topshop. There is a category called Topshop & Trend on Nordstrom, it makes it super easy to shop. Go check it out. Side note: Nordstrom Topshop is typically where I find all my graphic tees. Great prices and normally soft fabrication.
3. Zara is constantly pushing through trends. If there is a certain trend you are looking for, odds are Zara will have it. Plus there quality it pretty great.
4. Shopbop is one of those sites where you are overwhelmed, because everything seems cool and you just feel like you have to have it! haha! However the key for me me while shopping on Shopbop is to go through there trend categories and change the price point. This way I see all the items I can afford first and I don’t get attached to something I can’t! You feel me! ha!
These are the many different places I like to shop to pursue around for the latest trend items. These are just a few of my go-to favorites. Just find those trends you love and know your budget! Happy Shopping!
