Hello pretties! I hope you all had a wonderful week! Last week we chatted about how to do festival season in style. To continue on with this I wanted to share with you some ways to update your summer beauty looks. There are many different trends to try for this season, but I decided to keep it a little more simple. Let’s be honest here, I am no where close to being a make-up artist. Haha! So let’s take a product that you probably already have and multiple it’s use. I am talking about your highlighter, or face illuminator which ever you call it. Let’s keep this simple and update your summer beauty look together by using one product for several uses! Now start to think sun kissed, with dessert hues. Let’s do this!

Okay ladies, it’s time to leave a trail of glitter! You up for it? One of my favorite ways to spice up a summer beauty is with anything that shimmers. Hah! Don’t be scared.. I am not talking about some crazy blue or purple colors, I am talking about glamming up your look with neutral shimmering tones. Before we start apply your foundation as you normally would. Now, let’s start with a good highlighter. This highlighter will become your new best friend, because we are going to use it for multiple places on your face. Hah! Of course start with you check, and apply it how you normally would on top on your check bone. Next add your bronzer to give your checks that sun kiss glow.

Now on to your eyes. This Chantecaille pencil is one of my favorite beauty products. It is so easy to use! Just simply apply right under your eyebrows (from crease to brow), I also like to add some to the inside corner of my eyes, to bright them up! You can use your finger to smooth out the pencil. Next I applied Push-Up from the Too Faced natural eye palette in the outside corner of my eyelid, creating a a shape like is > hah! Go with the crease of your eye. Then I continue with this same color and pull it out kinda how you would to get a cat eye and now you have a nice glitter trail.

Here is where your highlighter will come back in. I applied the Laura Mercier (color: Indiscretion) face illuminating powder on the center of my eyelid, blending it into the crease and lashes. Then I applied it under my lower lashes. Starting from the middle of your eye, then moving your brush out along your lash line , again creating a cat eye motion. Lastly apply your eyeliner and mascara!

For your lips! To keep this soft by glamafied look going I used Smashbox (color: Primrose) all over my lips. Then I once again applied some of the highlighter!.. I told you this stuff would become your new bestie. Hah! Get a little bit the highlighter on your finger, then simply dabb it onto your lips.
