My family and I have been coming here for many many years now. If you have been hanging out with me for awhile now, I am sure you saw my Crested Butte post from this summer (Where Kagen and I Began)! This town is truly dear to my heart, so I wanted to share with you some of our favorite places. One of the main reasons our family loves to come to Crested Butte is the ski resort. This family friendly mountain is not super big so it’s not over populated, but it is plenty big to ski all day! The mountain offers several different ski run’s for all levels! No worries if you don’t enjoy skiing or snowboarding, there is plenty of shopping and good eats!

This cute coffee shop knows how to make a mean dirty chi. hah! I also love there hot chocolate for something cozy and warm. When it comes to lunch spots we are normally on the mountain skiing so we like to stop at Butte66 to re-fuel, or my sweet momma is slaving away in the kitchen cooking up something delicious for us. When it comes to dinner your options are endless, it all just depends on what type of food you are hungry for. So I don’t talk your ear off I will just give you our top 5 favorites. The Stash (Pizza) I talked about in Kagen and I’s date night. Lil’s (Sushi) they also have a delicious curry! Rice (Chinese) We love to get this to go for an easy night in. Marchitelli’s Gourmet Noodle (Italian) and Soupcon Bistro (Fine Dinning)! There are still so many more!

Don’t forget about the shopping!.. There are many great shops on the Mountain top and down in town. If you are looking to get a new boot, but one that can actually function in the snow, hah! go to Paradox Footwear! If you are from Dallas and know of the Gypsy Wagon, well have no fear they also have a location in Crested Butte. I could go on and on about this town, but I will stop here because this won’t be the last post you will see about Crested Butte! So if you are looking for a fun, new, and different ski resort I would highly suggest Crested Butte, Colorado!
